95th Academy Awards Oscars 2023: Celebrating the Best in Film

The 95th Academy Awards, which celebrated the best movies of 2022, were presented on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony, which was once again hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, was put together by Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss and broadcast on ABC.

Everything Everywhere All at Once, which garnered the most nominations with eleven and won seven awards, including Best Picture, was the night’s big winner. Other notable winners included All Quiet on the Western Front with four and The Whale with two.

Nine awards were won in total by A24, more than any other studio or distributor. The studio won the “top five” prizes—Best Picture and the four acting awards—between Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Whale. Overall, the 95th Academy Awards was a night to remember, honoring the best in film and showcasing the talent and diversity of the industry.
